Ghostees is a unique Flash-based MMORPG you can play in your browser. It features a huge scrolling virtual world, high quality graphics, unique story and an original musical score.
Ghostees is a holiday themed real time Flash MMORPG. Both the game and server are being developed independently by BakedOn Entertainment.
Ghostees has many game play features you expect from large MMORPGs such as:
- real time movement and interaction with other players
- scripted server controlled NPC characters
- scripted interaction between NPCs and players
- character development through level progression
- character specialization with talent trees
- server scripted quest chains
- social interaction through grouping, questing and chat
- content streamed in and out as needed; server controlled
The server is written in C# and runs on Windows Server. It features:
- multi-server architecture
- each server is responsible for a specialized unit of work, spreading load
- timing critical servers communicate over UDP
- client uses standard Flash protocols for easy client development (RTMP / AMF)
- artist-driven world maps with dynamic route planning.
